FAQ
General
What is Topgolf, exactly?+
A venue with 102 bays across three floors. Each bay is your own space with seating, screens and service. You hit microchipped balls onto the outfield, cameras track every shot and score it instantly. Add a kitchen, two bars and terraces. Easiest way to find out: come and try it.
I have never played golf. Is this still for me?+
Yes, and that is the whole point of Topgolf. Clubs and balls are ready for you, your bay host explains everything in a few minutes, and every hit scores. Most of our guests are not golfers.
Do I need my own equipment?+
No. Clubs and balls are covered by the one-time membership, so bring nothing. There is no dress code either, comfortable shoes are enough.
What is the Global Lifetime Membership?+
It costs €6 per person, once, on your first visit. It is valid for life and at every Topgolf venue, and it covers clubs and balls. From your second visit you only pay for the bay.
Can I eat at your place?+
Yes. Hot food is served for as long as we are open, plus two bars and Bistro 34. Order in your bay, in the lounge or on the terraces. Please do not bring your own food or drinks.
FAQ
Prices & booking
What does a visit cost?+
The rate is per bay per hour, not per person: from €30 per hour, depending on the time of day and the day of the week. Up to 6 people share a bay, so with a full bay that is from €5 per person. Plus the one-time membership of €6 per person.
Why does the booking show two hours?+
We hold your bay for two hours so you never have to stop mid-game. The amount in the booking is the price for those two hours, so it is the maximum. What you pay in the end is the time you actually played: finish after an hour and you pay for one hour. Want to keep going, extend on the spot as long as the bay stays free.
Do I need to book ahead?+
No, walk-ins are welcome and some bays are kept free. Weekends and evenings get busy, so a reservation helps, and you can book up to 4 weeks in advance.
How does a visit work?+
At check-in we welcome you and take you to your bay. The bay host explains the tech and the games, then you order right at your seat. Your bay number arrives by text when you get here.
How do I book a daily special?+
Every special has its own booking link, for example Double Monday, YourDay, Easy Wednesday, Student Thursday or the Brunch Club. You find them in the deals section on the home page.
How do I get several bays next to each other?+
Up to 12 people you book the bays yourself online. For bigger groups our event team arranges adjacent bays and the timing: events@topgolfwien.com.
FAQ
In the bay
How many people fit in one bay?+
Up to 6 people share a bay comfortably. If you are more, we put bays next to each other, and above 12 guests the event team plans it with you.
How long does a visit take?+
Your bay is reserved for two hours and you pay for the time you actually play. Most groups stay around two hours, longer with food and drinks.
What if we are more than 6 people?+
Not a problem: we add a second bay next door so you all play in the same spot. Above 12 guests there are fixed event packages.
Can we leave the bay in between?+
Of course. The sports bar, Bistro 34, the lounge and the terraces are open to you during your session.
FAQ
Equipment & tech
What makes the venue high-tech?+
Every ball has a microchip and high-speed cameras follow its flight. The screen in your bay shows distance, accuracy and points in real time, and games like Angry Birds run on top of that.
Which games are there?+
From simple target games for beginners to Angry Birds and points hunts for the whole group. You can switch games at any time, even mid-round.
Is the venue accessible?+
All three floors are reachable by lift. Let us know when you book or at check-in and we will prepare a suitable bay.
Can we watch sport on big screens?+
Yes. The sports bar has the 34 m² megascreen and there are monitors in the bays. What is live this week is in the week calendar.
